SAP objects

A SAP object is a document type in SAP Business One – incoming invoice, sales order, business partner and so on. Almost every configuration in ECM-Connect starts with the question which SAP object it applies to. The catalog provides the object numbers along with the underlying tables.

What is this for?

  • Look up object numbers and their SAP tables.
  • Identify which key, name and date field an object uses.
  • See whether an object is postable and which line table belongs to it.

SAP objects

How to set it up

  1. Select the matching SAP object when creating a configuration.
  2. If an object is not offered, check in the catalog whether it is active.
  3. For custom queries, use the table and key field from the catalog.
