ECM settings
The ECM settings lay the foundation: they describe where documents are filed, which document and attachment types exist and how fields in SAP Business One and the archive relate. The actual configurations build on top of them.
What is this for?
- Repository – the connection to the archive; nothing works without it.
- Document types and attachment types – the filing systematics.
- SAP objects and MIME types – the catalogs every configuration refers to.
- Field mappings – the available archive fields.
- Queries, dialog validation, autofill, stamps – automation and checks.

How to set it up
- Create the repository first and test the connection.
- Then review the document types and attachment types.
- Afterwards continue with the configurations.
